Sauerkraut Casserole

Ingredients
• 1 lb bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained or 1 medium kielbasa, sliced
• 12 slices of bacon
• 3 cups Tymek’s sauerkraut, rinsed and drained well
• cooked potatoes, sliced
• 1 onion
• 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
• 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Butter a 9x13 inch pan or casserole dish.

3. Put half of the bacon on the bottom of the casserole dish.

4. Fry onion til golden brown and mixed with cooked Tymek’s sauerkraut.

5. Spread 1/2 of the potatoes on the bottom, then half of the sauerkraut.

6. Use remaining potatoes on top of the sauerkraut, then the remaining sauerkraut.

7. Evenly distribute the pork sausage or kielbasa, sprinkle with pepper and top with the cheese you're using.

8. Cover with remaining bacon slices.

9. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
